Welcome from Headteacher

I'm delighted to welcome you to Vale School. We are a specialist provision situated across three sites and offering provision for a wide variety of special educational needs. 

Children and families are at the heart of everything we do at Vale School and we are always striving to create a bespoke experience so that our children and young people can be the 'best they can be.' Vale School is a warm and nurturing community with a high degree of professional expertise in working with children with SEND. 

We provide meaningful learning experiences for children with medical, cognitive and physical needs. Our three different sites cater for both primary and secondary students and we have an early years provision at our Lanacasterian site. 

Vale School has well established links with health and education professionals and are committed to working together with these professionals to achieve the best outcomes for our children and young people. We want our children to be equipped with the skills and confidence they need to advocate for themselves in their future.
