The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint, as soon as possible, a scale 6 special needs SNA who is prepared to provide support for learners, teachers and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all by utilising advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes, and to encourage learners to become independent, to provide support for their welfare, and to support the inclusion of learners in all aspects of our school life. This post will have a particular focus on supporting with children in our Outreach provision.
The successful candidates will:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the educational and emotional needs of pupils with diverse learning requirements.
Possesses excellent communication skills to establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
Exhibit strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage individualised education plans effectively.
Show flexibility, adaptability, and resilience when faced with challenges or changing circumstances.
Oversee the planning, delivery and assessment of the Outreach curriculum with support from relevant class teachers.
